Tight Hamstrings (the muscle up the back of your upper leg) are a common issue as so many things impact them, being seated for too long & even some sports / exercises if we don't give them the attention they need straight afterwards. The reason for addressing them is soo impoortant, they can not only alter the angle of your hips subsequently overloading your back, but they can also cause strain down your calf muscles & under the foot (see my video oin Plantar Fasciitis).

There are plently of great techniques out there to help out the hamstrings, here are my three to get you started. Remember to encourage the movement rather than force it.
