Here at MassageHull.com we are obviously passionte about helping release muscle tension through massage, however there are other methods which can help compliment this (see all our other blog posts) & today we would like to hifghlight mindfulness. Most of us build physical tension in our back & shoulders through mental stress,  not just from physical means, so why not use the same pathway to release it?


Essentially practicing mindfulness is about sitting somewhere quiet & focusing on yourself in the here & now via some simple breathing exercises. It can take as little as three minutes & can be very effective. Try putting '3 minute mindfulness' in to YouTube & find a style that suits you.
