All massage is based on the same principles and base techniques. A general massage will be relaxing and likely use less pressure, where as a sports massage will use a slightly firmer pressure where necessary plus additional techniques such as trigger pointing to address specific areas of tension to maximise your phyisical recovery.
Again, the principles are the same but Thai massage uses a style originating from Thailand. Think of a general body massage but the pressure used is similar to that of sports massage and with the addition of the therapist often climbing on the table to perform stretches etc.
As soon as it comes to mind! The thought of having a massage is usually triggered by the feeling of muscular tension or stress so it's best to get it sorted sooner rather than it snowballing in to a bigger problem. However, if you have a specific injury, then its generally best to RICE the area for a few days before receiving your massage treatment.
Here at MassageHull.com we charge an average price (£30 for 30 minutes or £45 for 60 minutes) but deliver an above average service.
In a word... YES. We treat hundreds of everyday people, helping them reduce pain, relevie tension and feel supple again. But dont just take our word for it, book in and see for yourself!
Professionalism, safety and client comfort are vital to use here. For a back massage we only need all clothes off your upper body and you layed on your front. For the legs, just come in a pair of shorts or undress down to your underwear and we will provide you with a large towel to lay over them. Of course, we leave the room to allow you to undress / re-dress, ringning a buzzer when you are ready for us to return.
Generally yes, if you would like your upper OR lower body working on. For multiple areas or if you're unsure, please get in touch to discuss.
We take this as a 60 minute or 90 minute massage including the full back and legs, plus fronts of thighs and upper chest if requested.
All our muscle groups benefit from massage but our clients especially love the feeling of their upper back and neck being massaged.
This depends on your situation and of course your budget. If you have an injury or severe tension then treatment every four to ten days for several weeks is best for optimal recovery. Where as if its to release moderate tension or just to keep you supple then every 6 weeks or so is fine. We never dictate when we want to see you, we can advise but its totally your choice, after all its your body.
